• Do not leave fishing lines lying around near the water or on the shoreline as other animals may become badly entangled in them.

• Do not leave fish on the shoreline to die

• Throw the fish back into the water, if you are not going to eat it. There may be other reasons: The fish may be under the minimum size allowed by law; the fish may not be big enough to be eaten; or you are just fishing for the joy of it.

• Be quiet when fishing. Loud noises will easily disturb or scare the fish away.
